The classroom is full of chaos, and technology has completely transformed the way kids learn. Educators are witnessing the effects firsthand. The solution is much simpler than you might think. It's all about combining the teaching of executive functioning skills with a technologically updated blended learning system to cater to the needs of all learners. The pages ahead will outline how to control the chaos.
Stephanie, the CEO of Gold EDU, a founder of Global GEG, co-owner of Control the Chaos Edu, and the EdTech Lead for Pickerington Local Schools, is key to the embedding and implementation of EdTech tools across her schools and organizations. She holds a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and is an adjunct professor at Ashland University. Stephanie enjoys creating resources to support the needs of teachers and students, which increase engagement and elevate tier 1 instruction. She builds relationships through co-planning and co-teaching, and she loves sharing her resources and connecting with educators worldwide via social media and professional learning. When she's not busy sharing her resources and connecting with other professionals, she spends time with her family.
Tara, the Co-owner of Control the Chaos Edu, is a Certified Crisis Prevention Intervention Instructor, Youth, Teen, and Trauma Informed Yoga Educator, a Resident Educator Program Coordinator, and an Academic Behavior Coach for fourteen schools. She holds a Master's in Special Education, mild to moderate and moderate to severe, and has completed the Applied Behavior Analysis certificate program at the University of Cincinnati. Tara enjoys dissecting intense behaviors through functional behavior assessments and turning them into comprehensive behavioral intervention plans to support student progress. When she's not busy talking about behavior, you'll find her trying to show the people she loves how they are her #1.
